Hoosier - The Cutest Cabinets Ever

In the world of Antiques and Vintage Cabinets in my mind the best ones ever to come out were made by a company out of Indiana called Hoosier.

Hoosier has become a generic term for this style cabinet that was originally designed as a Kitchen Workstation to allow whoever was doing the work in the kitchen time saving and organizing capabilities.

With things such as Flour/ Sugar bins w/ built in sifters to extending cutting boards - grain/ potato drawers and so much more they were ahead of their time for the kitchen space. When you come across these Antique & Vintage cabinets their elegance is unmatched. The woodworking is top quality, the design unmatched - even to this day - and they have the CUTEST touched added to them such as Enamel countertops which is where most of the work takes place.

Every single time I come across one of these I literally stop and go through each drawer and cabinet to see what it may have, sometimes even to this day I am pleasantly surprised to find something new to these cabinets even with all the Antique/ Vintage excursions my Wife and I constantly go on.

Whether you come across an original Antique/ Vintage Hoosier or a copy cat - they are always fun and always need a home to be loved in.
