Sage's Cabin

First off let me start by saying--> This project was a blast!

In this snippet I will give you a brief description of materials and work performed. If you have any questions please reach out to me on my contact form on the website I will be glad to help you through your project.


Materials: (Not Specific lengths just materials used)

-Concrete/ rebar 5' x 10' pad poured 4" thick with base rock and AB for drainage.

-5000lbs capacity Utility Rack drilled and bolted to slab. (As you know I am a fan of using good products people throw away-- I got this for free!).

-Pressure Treated > 2" x 6" , 2" x 4" (Framing).

-Douglas Fir > 2" x 8"(aesthetics , 2" x 4"(Framing).

-Cedar 5.25" shiplap.

-Trex Decking.

-2' x 6' Corrugated Metal.

-Minwax Early American Wood Stain.

-Misc screws/ nails.

-Hurricane straps (hold framing to utility rack)

-Two person wicker swing.








Quick Breakdown:

1. Dug, framed and poured 5' x 10' concrete pad.

2. Erected utility rack.

3. Aesthetically framed rack to hide.

4. Built deck framing from pressure treated attached to rack with hurricane straps.

5. Framed playhouse walls.

6. Cut and placed decking.

7. Hung shiplap.

8. Cut and placed corrugated metal roofing.

9. Stained all wood.

10. Hung Swing.
